About
A small shop with a big reading pile
Spring Bookstore is an independent online bookstore built around the stories we love: crime, mystery, and the kind of novel you read far too late into the night.
Who we are
Our authors, and the books we love
Spring Bookstore does two things. We publish and promote our own authors, each with their own shelf and their own series. And we recommend books from other writers we admire, the ones we keep pressing into friends' hands.
We don't hold stock or run a checkout. Every title on this site links to Amazon, where you can buy in your own country, read instantly on Kindle or the free Kindle app, or order a print copy where one is available.
Why Amazon?
Amazon lets a tiny shop sell to readers everywhere. You get Amazon's checkout, delivery and refund policies; we get to spend our time on the books.
If you buy through our links we may earn a small commission. It never changes the price you pay.
How it works
Three steps to your next book
Browse the shelves
Start with a featured title, an author, or a genre. Each book has a short, honest description and a link to its full page on Amazon.
Pick your Amazon store
Use the store picker next to any Buy button to choose Australia, the US, the UK and more. We remember your choice for next time.
Buy on Amazon
Checkout, payment and delivery happen on Amazon under Amazon's terms. Kindle editions land on your device in seconds.
Affiliate disclosure
How this site is funded
As an Amazon Associate, Spring Bookstore earns from qualifying purchases.
Spring Bookstore is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the equivalent Amazon Associates programmes in other countries. These are affiliate advertising programmes designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.
Links to Amazon on this website are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. This applies to books by our own authors and to the books we recommend. We only recommend books we would be happy to hand to a friend.
Prices, formats and availability are displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase and may change without notice. We do not display prices on this site for that reason.
Privacy
What we collect, and what we don't
This website does not run its own advertising or tracking scripts. It stores one small preference in your browser: the Amazon store you last selected, so you don't have to choose it again.
When you follow a link to Amazon, Amazon may set cookies to record that you arrived from this site. That is how affiliate commissions are tracked, and it is governed by Amazon's own privacy notice.
If you join our newsletter, your email address is stored by our email provider and used only to send you the Spring Bookstore newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
